Tucker, Work, Cover

Hello from Atlanta…okay Tucker, but same thing. I’m on an overnight trip with my day job finally meeting people I’ve been working with for nine years! Yes, about time, I agree. I only recently managed to land the gig full time though – so I suppose it wasn’t warranted until now. Glad to finally be here and with them. They help healthcare providers find their way to the facilities who need them, so you know, saving lives and whatnot…just doing my job here, folks. 😉

You like my new website? Yeah you do! A company called Remix designed the whole thing. I think you can click down in the footer somewhere and find more about them or here, whatever floats your boat. My honey paid for me to get a new site and some promo for the new book, Playing With Fire. It comes out 12/16 and I’ll probably cry when I actually hold it in my hands. I signed with them in January, and believe you me, it’s been a long dang year. I’m super proud of it, though. It’s my best work. Here’s one of my fav parts:

“I’ll just wait in the car,” I told them as we pulled into the parking lot of one of the oldest buildings in Savannah. Though she stood tall and proud, time and humanity had left their scars. Beautiful graffiti work littered her faded brick walls and over the years, she’d become part of the scenery; unseen to almost everyone, unchanging within herself. Men and women passed her by on their way to work or the grocery store every day never knowing the truth within her walls. Sometimes, when the wind ran from the cold Savannah River in late January and whipped around the city in search of warmth, the old girl sighed as she swayed, struggling against the foundation on which she was built. She was stuck, though, and she knew it.

Pretty good, huh? One of the best things about this book is the cover. Brought to you by the lovely, Angelique Anderson, this cover is captivating, beautiful and so far exceeded my expectations I just hardly know what to do with myself…other than post it. A lot. So…here you go.Playing With Fire, Trujillo =) Talk soon.

Spread the love
